This recipe is one of those classic crockpot recipes that I couldn’t possibly leave off of the blog for long. In fact, I can’t believe we have gone this far without adding this tasty Crockpot Grape Jelly & BBQ Little Smokies Recipe.
When it comes down to cooking my hubby knows a few things. Number one, he is a grill master. Just ask him, he will tell you. Number 2, are these grape jelly and bbq little smokies! He loves these things! The fact that they are so easy to make is just a bonus! These are one of the first items on our Super Bowl menu every year.
It is not a necessity, but it certainly makes clean up much easier to use one of these crockpot liners. I can’t tell you how grateful it makes me just to lift the bag out and toss it in the trash. I love to use these for any crockpot recipe that involves a sauce!
In the crockpot, you just dump in the little smokies, bbq, and grape jelly. Turn it on low for 2 – 3 hours. You can crank it up to high if you are impatient. Just keep an eye on them because you don’t want them to burn. When the sausages are done just give them a little stir before serving.
Now you can serve these on a platter with toothpicks or just get a bowl. Either way, these are always a huge hit and usually gone before you even know it!
Crockpot Grape Jelly & BBQ Little Smokies
Yield 8 - 12
- 2 - 16oz Packages Cocktail Sausages
- 1 cup bbq sauce
- 3/4 cup grape jelly
- Dump all of the ingredients in a lined four quart or larger crockpot.
- Turn on low for 2 -3 hours.
- Stir before serving.
