Ingredients

14oz chicken broth
1 ½
cups
uncooked converted long grain rice
1
small red bell pepper diced
⅓

water

teaspoon
saffron threads crushed or ½ teaspoon ground tumeric

teaspoon
red pepper flakes

cup
frozen peas thawed
salt to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except for peas in slow cooker. Mix well.
Cook on low 4 hours or until liquid is absorbed.
Stir in peas. Cover and cook 15-30 mins more or until peas are hot. Season as desired
Notes
Gluten Free: Make sure you use a gluten free broth.
