Pineapple Baked Beans

Here is a new one that I would have never thought of.  It is nice to have a vegan option every once in a while.

Pineapple Baked Beans

Serves: 6
 

Ingredients
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 8 ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. Mix together all ingredients in a crock pot or slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Notes
*to make sure these are vegan check the barbecue sauce ingredients *Gluten Free- These are also gluten free but you will need to use gf soy sauce and bbq sauce.
