Blueberry Dump Cake (Crock Pot)

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
  • 1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup walnuts , chopped
Directions
  1. Place pie filling in the slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter, sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle the walnuts on top of that. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Serve warm in bowls.
  2. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
  3. *Best made in a 3-4 quart crock pot
Notes

**Gluten Free** Use a gluten free cake mix (keep in mind they are typically smaller than regular cake mix so you may need more than one.

**Dairy Free** Substitute dairy free margarine instead of butter

This was absolutely great. The only thing that I canged is that I also added a sprinkling of brown sugar on top of the butter/cake mix layer. I might eat the whole thing myself!!! Can’t wait to try with apples next time!!!
