    Blueberry Dump Cake (Crock Pot)

    With all the great crockpot meals we need some yummy dessert too!

    Blueberry Dump Cake (Crock Pot)

    Servings 6 -8

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 21 ounce can blueberry pie filling
    • 1 18 ¼ ounce package yellow cake mix
    • ½ cup butter
    • ½ cup walnuts chopped

    Instructions
     

    • Place pie filling in the slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter, sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle the walnuts on top of that. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Serve warm in bowls.
    • Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
    • *Best made in a 3-4 quart crock pot

    Notes

    **Gluten Free** Use a gluten free cake mix (keep in mind they are typically smaller than regular cake mix so you may need more than one. **Dairy Free** Substitute dairy free margarine instead of butter

      This was absolutely great. The only thing that I canged is that I also added a sprinkling of brown sugar on top of the butter/cake mix layer. I might eat the whole thing myself!!! Can't wait to try with apples next time!!!
