Pineapple Baked Beans

Here is a new one that I would have never thought of.  It is nice to have a vegan option every once in a while.

Pineapple Baked Beans

  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 8 ounce can pineapple chunks drained
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Mix together all ingredients in a crock pot or slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.


*to make sure these are vegan check the barbecue sauce ingredients *Gluten Free- These are also gluten free but you will need to use gf soy sauce and bbq sauce.
