Only 3 ingredients go into the slow cooker and out comes this moist, flavorful chicken that is perfect for tacos, burritos, rice bowls, taco salads, or just by itself.
I use a 4 quart or larger crockpot for this recipe. My favorite part of this simple dish is that you can use frozen chicken breasts. That is a HUGE time saver in my opinion. This simple fact truly makes this a dump and go recipe!

When your chicken is done, assemble your tacos as you normally would with any type of taco shell, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, etc.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos
- 1 1/2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Fresh or Frozen
- 1 - 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- In a 4 quart or larger crockpot place chicken breasts. Sprinkle with taco seasoning and pour salsa over them both.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Remove lid and shred the chicken with a fork. Use shredded chicken in your tacos, salads, burritos, and more.
