Pull out your favorite large crockpot and fill it with all of the ingredients for the chili portion of this dish. Let this cook all day. When you are ready to serve boil up some macaroni or rotini pasta until it is al dente. Stir it in with your chili.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and cover for 5 – 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Scoop and serve! You can even add a little more cheese once it is in the bowl because cheese makes everything better.
If you are gluten-free feel free to substitute gluten-free pasta. It works great for this dish.
Also, dairy-free folks can use a Vegan cheese substitute. They don’t melt as well, but they are a great substitute for this dish.
Crockpot Chili Mac
- 1 lb browned ground beef
- 2 14 oz cans chili beans
- 2 28 oz cans diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 8 oz Dry Macaroni cooked al dente
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Dump everything in the crock pot and cook on low 6-8 hours
- Stir in cooked macaroni or rotini pasta.
- Top with shredded cheese and cover with the lid for another 5 – 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
- Use gluten free pasta.
- Use dairy free cheese.
