I am so excited to share this with you guys! I have been working on getting this perfect all week! Keep your eyes out because I am planning on creating many more of these freezer meal posts, not only to help you but to fill my freezer as well! I am going to show you today how to Make 10 Crockpot Chicken Freezer Meals In An Hour! Yes…ONE HOUR! It is possible to do and so simple!
Make 10 Crockpot Chicken Freezer Meals In An Hour
The key is not to overthink this. We are simplifying by making only five recipes but two of each. By the time we are done, we will have ten meals to put in the freezer for busy days. My plan is to provide you with new freezer plans over the next couple months so if you follow each one; you will have an abundance of meals to rotate into your weekly menu plans!
Oh, by the way, all the meals in this plan are gluten free or have gluten free options. These are also perfect if you are on the 21 Day Fix or Whole 30 plans. These can be adjusted to fit your diet needs very simply!
We will be making
- Crockpot Buffalo Chicken
- Crockpot Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, & Green Beans
- Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore
- Crockpot Bacon Chicken
- Crockpot Pineapple Chicken
I chose these meals because each one only requires some chopping and mixing for prep. The simplicity of the prep makes them perfect to turn into easy freezer meals and just dump and go on those busy days! There is a full downloadable packet below with
- all of the printable recipes
- a complete shopping list
- printable labels for your freezer bags
- simple direction sheet on how to get it all done in an hour.
Things to Make This Easier
First things first, you need chicken and lots of it! Keep your eyes out for grocery store sales. If you have a Sam’s Club or Costco membership you can actually talk to the meat department about grabbing a 40 lb box to make it easier.
Hey, I am all for making this easy! A found a few fun gadgets that made this process easier for me. My favorite are these Hands-Free Bag Holders! I don’t’ know how I ever lived without these!
The next thing you are going to want is some label paper for your printer. Since I made these handy dandy printable labels for your meals, it is super easy just to stick them right on the bags when they are stickers. This makes the directions very clear instead of writing on your bags with a sharpie.
Of course, you will need Gallon Freezer Bags. I ordered mine in bulk from Amazon because I foresee a lot of freezer meals in my future. Get the ones with the slider because it just makes things so much easier!
Finally, a couple of the recipes call for Ranch Dressing Mix. You can buy the packets or you can make your own very simply with this Ranch Dressing Mix recipe.
