After about 4 hours on high or 6 -8 hours on low the Crockpot Cilantro Lime Chicken is a wrap. Well, it will be a wrap once you pull out the tortillas and toppings. Crockpot Cilantro Lime Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1/2 cup lime juice (about 4 small limes)
  • zest from the limes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1/3 cup loosely packed chopped cilantroTaco Assembly
  • Mission Organics Tortillas
  • lime
  • cilantro
  • sour cream
  • lettuce
  • cheese
  • guacamole
  • any toppings you desire

Instructions

  • Place all of the chicken ingredients in a 5 qt or larger crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 -8 hours.
  • When it is done pull out your Mission Organics Tortillas and taco toppings for a great meal!

Notes

Freezer Meal

  • This can be prepared ahead of time as a freezer meal. Just place all of the chicken ingredients in a gallon sized zip top freezer bag, label it, and freeze for up to 3 months.
  • When ready to prepare, defrost in the fridge overnight and place contents in the crockpot and cook according to the recipe.
