This really depends how many Grape Jelly & BBQ Little Smokies you are cooking. If you are making the recipe as it is written, you only need a 4 quart crockpot. If you decide to double it for a party or get together I would use at least a 5 or 6 qt crockpot.
Crockpot Liners for Easy Cleanup
It is not a necessity, but it certainly makes clean up much easier to use one of these crockpot liners. I can’t tell you how grateful it makes me just to lift the bag out and toss it in the trash. I love to use these for any crockpot recipe that involves a sauce!
How to Make Crockpot Lil Smokies
In the crockpot, you dump in the little smokies, bbq, and grape jelly and give it a stir. Turn the crockpot on low for 2 – 3 hours. You can crank it up to high if you are impatient. Just keep an eye on them because you don’t want them to burn. When the sausages are done just give them a little stir before serving.
Now you can serve these on a platter with toothpicks or just get a bowl. Either way, these are always a huge hit and usually gone before you even know it!
