It is even better when you make this delicious Crockpot Hot Chocolate recipe. It is the best for a snow day, or when you have been out looking at Christmas lights. There isn’t anything better to come home and smell cooking.
My kids love a nice hot cup of Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream on top as a treat when it is cold outside. By the time I make enough for 3 kids and the hubby and myself, it just makes sense to make a crockpot full. I know we could just do microwave hot cocoa but that is NOT THE SAME! This is creamy, decadent, and rich made with actual chocolate. We are talking this is up there with what the elves are making Santa.
Now this makes about 12 (8 oz ) servings. So if you have big mugs or you just love hot cocoa, you may want to make a little more. Also, this works best in a 6 quart crockpot, just because of the amount of liquid. Something to keep in mind. Any way you shake it, stir it, or mix it up, this is hands down the best Hot Chocolate Recipe around!
